should i consider rushing?

I don't consider myself to be a very popular person so I don't know if I would fit in. I mean I have close friends and people know who I am and I'm nice to people I'm just not a 'popular kid'. I have a lot of volunteer stuff going for me and my GPA is like a 3.1 and I used to do sports until I got injured. I can totally pay any fees. I want to be able to do fun stuff and have friends at college and this seems like the best way considering I got a single person dorm room at Olympia and I heard its hella quiet. I just cant tell if people are making it sound better or worse than it actually is!
