being a part of another college's greek life?
by: TessaI'm a senior this year and I'm planning on rushing in the fall (very excited about it as well!). My problem/question is let's say I rush and pledge XYZ. I might have to transfer to a university closer to my home. That university also has greek life, so I'm wondering if I go to WSU, pledge XYZ, and then move, can I be active in that sorority/greek life?

If you pledge a social sorority at WSU and then transfer to a different university, you have two options. First, you can petition the same sorority at your new university to accept you as an active member, or you can sit out Greek life.
Once you are initiated into a social sorority or fraternity, you cannot become initiated in another one. If you think you may transfer after a short period at WSU, I suggest not rushing.
