formal recruitment as a sophomore
by: curiousI went through formal fall 16 but didnt get any bids from a house. (how embarrassing). What are my chances if I rush again? I really want to be in a house, always have since I was little. But I dont want to get my hopes up if they dont want sophomores.

If a sorority is very important to you and it is a wonderful opportunity- than you should consider switching schools that are not so competitive in their Greek system. Also I think it is a cool to live in a sorority more than just one year- like the WSU sororities. So consider another school that is more accepting - in their sororities - it's worth it!!!!

Wow this is dumb. You're going to college for an education not a sorority. What happens if you transfer but still don't end up in a house? Lol
Get your grades up, become friends with girls in houses and often times you have a better chance with informal recruitment. Best of luck!
