If you're looking for party school with good greek life, I would definitely go here. The culture of this school is partying and day drinking. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. People will literally get out of class on Thursdays and Fridays at 1-2 and make their way to greek row to start day drinking. Its truly so fun and everyone should experience it.

Greek life is the best way to go through college at WSU. I would encourage anyone on the fence about Greek Life here to talk to people in Fraternities and Sororities on campus. Don't listen to anyone trying to talk about Greek Life if they aren't in it because they have no idea what they are talking about. Greek students are the most involved student population on campus and get higher average GPAs than students not in Greek Life. Plus the parties are significantly better than any of the parties in apartment land. Don't worry too much about Greek house rankings, what's the most important is that you find the house you vibe with the most. Don't join a house for the social status if you don't like the members in that house. There is a house for everyone!

I love being part of greek life at wazzu. I was a geed my freshman year and decided to join a sorority as a sophomore, and I've been happy with that decision so far. I've made great connections with a lot of new people, and the parties have also been a plus. Would definitely recommend rushing if you're coming to wsu. You can still party and have fun without being in a house, but it definitely is an amazing experience

there are a lot more frats than sororities but frats also recruit a lot less people. never seen hazing. If you're not in a house you're misinformed

I haven't even been here long but the amount of competition and negativity that gets thrown around between houses is ridiculous, especially between the sororities. People need to stop judging each other based on the houses they are in and get along already. The Greek System wasn't created so people can compete for popularity and flaunt that they are top house. And it's not that great when frats look down on girls from certain sororities and how some sororities look down on guys from certain frats, realize that people are people. Everyone in both frats and sororities need play nice with each other, things would be way more fun that way.

Being a member of the Greek system at WSU teaches kids how to become well rounded adults with a good mix of education and a well rounded social life. Everyone is welcome and accepted in the Greek system and it’s important to find the house that fits you best. One of the best things about the Greek system is they have fazed out hazing and have become more involved with helping the community whenever a need is found.
