judgement based on rankings

I'm not a part of the GS, but I'm kind of curious about rushing next fall. How much do rankings actually matter to you guys? Like if you met a girl that you thought seemed pretty cool, but she was in a bottom tier sorority, would that actually keep you from hanging out with her (platonically or otherwise)?

If a persons house made you drop them as a friend you're probably not a very deep person. Caring about something so shallow says way more about you than it does about them.

Some houses do suggest to not hang out with a person of a lower tier which is sad and embarrassing but in the end you make the decision of who is and isn't in your life. No house is gonna keep you from a person but it doesn't mean they are gonna like the person
