legacy

How do sororities on campus view legacies? Obviously it comes down to the pnm clicking with the girls in the house but just curious about how it affects things. (theta btw)

be sure to keep an open mind when rushing! there are tons of sororities on campus that are all very different. i didn't go with the sorority my mom and sister were in but i couldn't be happier.

legacies are not heavily considered at UW- it's not like other places (the south for example). You're guaranteed an invite to house tour, but after that it's not as important. Also, the more selective the house the less your legacy status typically matters. Like the person above said though, it doesn't mean you won't find a place that makes you happy :)

Every house has a different "policy" on it and it matters if you're a legacy, double legacy, etc. usually you will get invited back to a certain number of rounds but it does not necessarily guarantee a bid! Sorry I don't know every houses stance so I can give a definite answer ):
