I just transferred and applied for COB and I was wondering when do you usually hear back? Or do I need to contact the houses first?
Also, I know people in couple of the houses that are on the list for COB. should I tell them I'm interested in their house?

I agree, you should be open minded. I feel like each house has their own personality and characteristic that is unique to them and that's why you shouldn't basing opinions as facts until you experience each house. Just a thought

even tho a ton of bottom do cob, several top and top mid do COB too. last quarter I COBed mainly at pi phi, axo, and tridelt. they all were fine and i found a house that was the right fit for me. it just matters where u feel comfortable. email their recruitment chairs (google UW COB and u will find out their contact info). good luck

Thank you! Also do you know when they usually reach out its been about 2 weeks since I filled out the paper work and about a week since I've emailed them.

Have you talked to these so called "bottom tier" houses and given them a chance? If you're judging houses based on pointless rankings made on this website, maybe you shouldn't join a house in the first place
