gdi's at frat parties
by: Addressed
PSA STOP COMING TO THE PARTIES PLEASE! It's disrespectful.
We made the active choice to be a part of a group or a community and we went through things and still have to go through things, for example as a girl, we go to chapter every monday, or we have to go to mandatory speakers, as do guys in order to be a part of this community and dorm people just want to get drank out and it's basically a freebie which is really annoying. Wouldn't it be annoying if you joined a club, paid membership fees, did a bunch of other stuff for the club and then when it comes to a fun activity all of a sudden a bunch of people who didn't go through what you went through get to also enjoy, it's just not fair.
Plus dorm girls are a liability because sororities have this thing called toast bar to encourage guys to walk us home which is not a big deal because it is only a couple blocks away but dorm girls live way too far. I've seen a girl during halloweek not able to walk home and guys in the house not knowing what to do because she just passed out on their couch. Obviously I know that not all dorm girls are sloppy but just a general rule it is still a liability that no one wants to deal with and just makes everyone uncomfortable.
#2by: THANK YOU
Praise whoever wrote this thank you. I understand why people that are not involved in Greek life come to our parties... They can't have dorm parties and I am sorry about that. But at the same time, we made the conscious decision to join Greek, and we pay the cost to have our fun-literally and metaphorically. Guys undergo their share of...lets just say shenanigans. And girls have serious meetings at least once a week sometimes more and have strict rules and many events to attend and philanthropies to work hard for. It's not really fair. And really it's just dork girls to worry about since the guys are petty screwed over anyways. But I'm sorry to you girls. I mean if you love it that much then support the system, do cob or rush! But if not, then please look into other student living parties and such
