theta so wrong.
by: Bash on theta
I just get sick thinking about the theta house and the girls there. I have quite a bit of evidence that the first thing they look for in a pnm is money. I was dropped from them after philanthropy, I remember being asked what my parents do and I said they both work from home. On the other hand, my friend who is not a huge partier and is shy and not outgoing said she was asked the same thing, and said one of her parents is a lawyer. She was back for preference, along with two other houses very different from theta (don't want to give it away, but it was like phi mu, dz, axid, sk, aopi). She put theta as her 3rd choice and luckily didn't have to go there.
I knew 4 girls from high school and my rc that ended up in theta, all girls I despised, very self centered. Wore Tory burch sandals in the rain, I overheard one girl spent $500 on her dresses for recruitment. And another girl I saw her Instagram and she's a legit model. So I really wasn't surprised when they all ended up in the same house.
To make it even better, thetas continue their superficial nature with their rediculous rules once they gain their new girls. Did you know they won't let their girls downstairs if they don't have 2/3 of these: hair done and pretty, full makeup done, nice clothes on. So basically if you want to shower and walk downstairs to get food you'd have to wear a nice outfit and do your makeup or dry your hair just to walk around your own house. Sounds terrible.

Nice try. Where do you even get this stuff? I am a UW Theta, and my parents are FAR from rich. And what you are saying about going downstairs is ridiculous. How do you even come up with that? I'm sorry you were dropped during recruitment. If you only knew how hard it is for the members of the house to have to cut pnms, you might understand. Please stop spreading ridiculous rumors.
