legacies?

I heard that most sororities have to pledge their legacies if they ask them back to philanthropy day. Is this true? I'm a legacy at three houses.

It depends on house- I had a friend who was a double theta legacy and they dropped her at end. she ended up in better house where she wasn't a legacy.

Every sorority handles legacies differently. You have the upper hand on the first day for most but really if you don't fit then they will probably drop you, and not in a mean way, but because they doing see a good fit and you will be better somewhere else!! Just keep and open mind while going through. You never know which house you'll fall in love with

SOME groups require legacies invited to PREF be given a bid but there are several, like Theta and Phi Mu who do not have this requirement. There are no guarantees for legacies.
