Yes. If you go through recruitment with not enough or too much makeup you'll get dropped from lot of houses fast. Sorry but it's true.

I'm introverted too and I have to say it's been kinda frustrating sometimes. Like it takes a while for me to open up to people and it can be hard. Also privacy is VERY important to me but very hard to have living in a house. Regardless of all this, I am happier in a sorority then I would be in a dorm so you should still try it out. No matter your personality you will find a group of friends who you fit in with

I'm not sure about other houses, but I know mine will judge A LITTLE based on appearance NOT if you're pretty or can apply makeup, but if it looks like you care and put effort in. It's a big deal and you're meeting lots of people, so dress nicely, shower, and present yourself well just like you would with any other important thing! We don't care what you look like, we just want to know you put effort into meeting us just like we will do for you guys

Looks matter more than personalities, grades, or reputation for some sororities and they pledge accordingly. Others look at whole package- want true sisters.

It's not about judging wether or not you are attractive but how you present yourself. think of it like an interview for an internship or something of that nature.If you show up to an internship interview in your pajamas, or without showering or noticibly hungover or something, you probably wouldn't get the job. You didn't get it solely based on being attractive or not, but based on the fact you looked like you didn't care about making a good first impression.

Looks should only be a small part on the whole package.
Good sisterhood is built on well-rounded houses.
