So what makes the following frats so popular? Like what characteristics does each one have that sets them above the rest?
Fiji
Tekes
Sigma Chi
Zetes
Betas
Alpha Delts
Chi Psi
AEPi
Pi Kapps
SigEp
Commentby: Yeaa there's a difference
If you're asking from the standpoint of a rushee, there is definitely a huge difference between these houses, this is a place you're going to have to live and guys you are going to be living with. The mindsets and mentalities are going to be very different at each house. They are all going to function slightly different so I wouldn't trust anything from this site about who they are. sure it's easy to pick where your favorite place to party is, but pick somewhere that you can see your self getting along with the guys and being comfortable spending a lot of time there.

Fiji's - cool because they're exclusive. They also tend to have a lot more connections in the real world through alums, as most of them are from wealthy/successful families so they already have a lot of connections and go on to be successful as well.
Tekes - apparently they throw really good parties. I've never experienced this. They're only really fun if you have friends in the house. I think they're only top because of they're tight friendship with KD
Sigma Chi - Quite frankly PC 13 sucks (with the exception of a few). On an upside, PC 14 (also with the exception of a few) are all really good guys. They also throw ragers (make it nasty is probably the biggest party of greek week). They have a douchey reputation because they black out a little too much.
Zetes - they play good music and their house is basically a night club in the sense that you don't have to know anyone to have a good time
Betas - rich and good looking. Selective about which girls they are nice to.
Alpha Delts - good looking, throw decent parties. All friendly and some flamboyant. Have a cool hipster vibe going which girls are into
Chi Psi - they have the reputation of being nice guys
PiKapps - pretty much the same as Chi Psi
AEPi-really close with top houses tkes and sigma chi which helps them. They are also good looking.
SigEp - idk why they're on this list to be honest

Let me clarify, there's really not THAT much of a difference between frats. I feel most frats do the same thing (parties, GADs, work out) but while the big houses do them better, you can enjoy it at any house you join really
