theta leg?
by: ?i'm looking at uw and i'm a theta legacy. i've seen some good and some bad about them on greek rank. thoughts about the house? will me being a legacy even matter to them? i'm a pretty outgoing and social girl from california.

Just remember that this website has a lot of negative stuff on it. Its hard to get a good picture of the GS from just looking on here, especially what you read about houses, because people mostly just come on here to rack on other houses. I've met some really sweet Thetas, that doesn't necessarily describe the entire house but its hard to know. I strongly recommend that you come to Greek Preview if you can and if not, come to FFR and see for your self. If you have a weird or negative feeling about them, then maybe that house isn't for you but you might find a house that works better with your personality, or you might get along with the house very well. So hard to know until then.

Of course! I know your mom would love it if you were a legacy with theta, it can be wonderful go have that connection. On the other hand, though, you need to find what's the right fit for you. I know a lot of girls who were legacies with a chapter but a pledged different one and they don't regret it. I also know plenty of alumnae from our chapter whose daughters pledged other chapters and the moms are simply happy that their daughters are happy. I'm sure that no matter what you pledge, your mom will be happy for you.

My mom definitely isn't obsessed with her sorority since she went to ucsb and greek life is very chill there. Just wanted to reach out and get some unbiased opinions of the thetas just cause I know my mom loves some of the girls she meet through theta and are friends with to this day.

Thanks so much! i would definitely go to greek preview. i'm open minded about it but i know my mom would love it if i was a theta too.
