when to rush

So I just transferred here and I was wondering when I should rush the fraternities. This quarter or spring quarter? I'll be a junior in the fall.

Close to summer time as possible. That's when you'll get invited to the most parties

If you'll be a junior in the fall your ship has sailed for the good houses. No one wants a junior, you'll only live in the house for one year and not be able to contribute much. Sorry for the harsh truth.

Yeah. I've heard that from a few people. I already have several options to sign right now, mostly from what this website calls "middle tier". I may not get the supposed "top tier" houses but obviously I would have a better time at UW in a house than not in one at all. Especially since I transferred in.
