What are your guys' thoughts on Phi Mu? Do they have a good chance of being a respectable house? What have you heard?

You're going to get a different experience joining a new house, versus an established house. That's not necessarily a bad thing, just depends on what you're looking for.

New houses are never amazing straight off the bat. Even if Phi Mu gets cool girls it takes a long time to work up the social ladder, if that's what you're referring to. It will be interesting to see how they do given location (17th) and being they're a waaay Southern sorority, not relevant on the West Coast.

I mean it's a strong chapter nationally and they're going to have a great house on 17th. Can't hurt for recruitment, I bet they'll start doing really well after a few years.

An "eh" pledge class is inevitable honestly..gonna have to see how they do during recruitment next year. Guessing they gain success faster than aoii though

Their pledge class is pretty varied in terms of looks/personality but there are some good ones... we'll see how recruitment goes.

I haven't met a single phi mu that tried rushing for other sororitys... mostly just roommate pairs who were sick of dorms

Honestly think they're gonna do really well. Their house in the fall is already on 17th and their pledge class was huge. Gonna rise very quickly for sure compared to AOII
