texting rush chairs

If I texted the rush chair for Sigma Chi (or Tekes), would I actually get a response? I've only heard rumors that they're dbags but I'd prefer to form my own opinion.

Check back in the spring kid. Rush is closed until then for the majority of fraternities.

You're probably fine contacting people to rush, both houses probably won't have you out until they send out acceptance letters, but after that, theyll definitely respond, it makes their job easier to not have to look for rushees
