fraternity rush

I was going to rush this fall, but I am from Out of State so I figured it would be better to get adjusted to the atmosphere and work load of classes before going Greek. To my surprise, I am already getting bored of dorm life and feel ready to start rushing. Is there rush for Fraternities during Winter Quarter or do I have to wait until Spring Quarter to start rushing. Also, how should I go about rushing since I will likely be doing it alone, or with one other friend and there will likely not be many other people rushing Fraternities at that time?

Some fraternities rush in the spring so you can start rushing now if you want! I know SAE and I think Sigma Chi and Theta Chi have spring rush. Go on the uwgreeks.com, click IFC and click on the drop down menu ad you'll see a long list of fraternities. Then look for the rush chairs numbers and text them saying you're interested in rushing and they'll help set you up! Alternatively you could always just knock on doors and ask if their rush chair is home and more often then not they'll let you. Good luck and enjoy rushing!

start rushing spring for pc15 of next year. you'll have a chance at all the good houses and you can party where you sign the whole summer. might be able to even live in some places.
