transfer into greek life?

by: East Coast

I was a pike at a school on the east coast, top tier etc but I was unhappy academically and so am transferring back home to UW. Is it worth joining the chapter here? I want to party and have a good time with sororities but I have heard some mixed things about our chapter here. Any thoughts would be great

They have a decent chapter. If you only care about partying and girls then you sound like you'd fit right in. They are widely accepted as douchebags.

Granted they are seen as douchebags, do they at least have decent brotherhood/ community involvement?

If you were in a top-tier house, you won't enjoy this one. From a female perspective they're pretty sketch. However, UW is extremely divided between greeks and non-greeks - meaning that if you're remotely social you're better off in a frat, even Pikes.

Honestly, they suck. Go check them out for yourself and you'll figure it out
