What is the best way to go about getting a bid out of COB? There are a few houses that I really want but will the fact that I went through FFR and dropped on pref day hurt my chances?

it depends on the house. some like to see that you're coming back to try again but others won't

Depends why you dropped. If you dropped because you didn't get the houses you want then remember there is a reason they didn't invite you back in the first place.

it definitely looks bad that you didn't get a bid from FFR. Why are you still trying to get into houses that DROPPED you? COB works best for girls who didn't do FFR. I think COB will be awkward for you and houses aren't going to want to bid a girl that got turned down by every sorority once already. Just being honest.

When people drop out of recruitment and try to come back either the following year or through COB, it makes them look like a not-very-dedicated potential new member.

My house just recently had a girl who dropped out of FFR and was dropped by our house that was given a bid so it all depends on the house. Ours was happy to give a second chance.
