Have sororities actually blacklisted certain PNM's before rush…?

After open house active members can dnr (do not recommend) certain PNMs. So not before, but during rush.

your high school reputation can come to haunt you during rush. word of mouth, those things get around fast

It happens, especially if you have a bad rep with someone who is already in the chapter

If there is an active member in a chapter that knows you from high school this can help you a little or hurt you a lot, depending on your relationship with that person. Also if you show up at frat parties during summer and run around telling everyone you're rushing, you could get yourself in trouble
