Is round one usually the "looks" and first impression round? What do they mean when they say looks? What we wear or our physical appearances? And do sorority sisters have our application so we don't have to list every volunteer work/ sports we did?

Sororities use the first step to determine if you're good looking enough for their house. If you're not, you're going to have to compensate by being extremely social and having great grades. It's rare that you find a girl under 5/10 looks at any UW sorority, even the lower tiered ones.

How important is your GPA? Will houses keep you if it's high?

A house won't keep you solely because you have a high gpa but it will definitely help!
