by: RusheeI've rushed around 10 fraternities, really taken advantage of the process and I will honestly state to anyone who is rushing: Ignore what you see on this site. Try not to focus on the tiers, what people rank, etc. Go to parties, meet the guys (or girls if you're rushing a sorority) and see what you like the best. I.e. I rushed betas and received a bid from them, despite being a top house I thought that they were jerks, but I'm sure a lot of people would disagree with that. Don't let reputation influence your decision, decide on your own.

I rushed about 14 houses. And a lot of the "top" houses I rushed I hated. I got a bid from a top tier and turned it down because they were too douchy. I signed with one of the very low tier houses and my PC is about to be dope. I love the guys. My second choice was also very low tier. And I greatly enjoyed them as well. I also liked pikes, but they were the "highest" I considered. I'm not a weird guy, jock, not unattractive, asb leader. Not weird. All that jazz, and it's just what you like

I've signed already. I had 4 bids. 2 from "top" houses and 2 from mid sized houses. I signed with a midsized house. I'm just saying that there is more to the greek system then a ranking on a website, your own opinion on the house and the people inside is the most important thing.
