sorority
by: GPASo sororities have GPA cut offs and I wanted to know if they count the 2 decimal points or if they count one decimal point. For example; would they have a cut off 3.48 gpa or a cut offGPA of 3.4? And when we rush do we compare our grades with the new member grades, class standing, or the overall quarter grades (panhell grades)?

Each sorority has its own GPA standard, which is typically higher for high school then college GPAs. While there is a national standard, there is also usually a local standard that is higher than the national one. For a college GPA this could be 3.4 or 3.39 or 3.355 or whatever they decide to set it at - there is no way of you knowing.
IMO, the best way to see how you might fare with a particular sorority is to look at how your college GPA measures up against the quarterly all-house GPA.
If you're talking high school GPA, there really is no way to compare.
