Girls Dropped In Primary
by: AnonI heard that several people got dropped by every single house even before pref. I thought that UW doesn’t drop girls? Does this have anything to do with the COB problem?

First, I find it hard to believe anyone was dropped from every single house let alone several, simply because some houses return numbers would dictate that they invite back 100%. So if they were truly dropped by every house there may have been real concern about them (bad reputation, grade issues, attitude)
Secondly, if you heard UW doesn’t drop girls you are wrong. Every house has numbers dictated to them by Panhellenic and nationals recommending how many to invite back. Even the houses who are very small and don’t have the luxury of being more selective still have standards and want girls who will fit in.

What “grade issues” could an incoming freshman at UW have that would get them dropped from every, or almost every, sorority? This isn’t a school that admits people with low GPAs.
