Lower Mid House

by:

Ok so basically I ended up getting a lower mid house on bid day which was my second option because I didn’t wanna suicide bid my first house but I’m lowkey regretting it. Is it actually bad being in a lower mid house/is the going out experience actually worse? Like I’m hearing pi phi and theta are doing COB and I’m pissed now because I would’ve loved being in either of those houses but now I can’t do COB at all and would have to wait until next years primary recruitment. Please be honest I wanna know what I have to either look forward to or not look forward to being in a lower mid house. Also do we only hang with the bad frats or do the frats not care

It really just depends on what you’re looking for honestly. If you released houses, or they released you then it’s unlikely they would give you a cob bid. They don’t just hand those out to anybody. If you like the girls in your house that’s where you’ll build friendships. I feel like honestly girls from any house can go to any frat. You might not have exchanges between houses but you’ll be welcomed at parties and stuff. I’d give it time any focus on friends right now as it sounds like partying is your bigger concern

Omg do you want to be in a sorority or just party? Sorority life at UW is about sisterhood and friendship and philanthropy and living in one of the coolest environments ever. If all you care about is what frats you can hang with you’re missing the point

If you ended in a lower tiered house, you were never going to get a COB bid from Theta or PiPhi anyway. Be kind to yourself and give yourself a chance to be happy in your new home.
