suicide bid or cob
by: Help meeeokay so I got my pref houses back and it’s one I kinda liked in the beginning but they weren’t my top until all my other tops dropped me and then I got one I do NOT see myself in so either I single preference bid or I drop and do cob. I didn’t get the fun giddy feeling when I saw my “top” bc it wasn’t one I had my heart set on in the beginning but idk what to do. PS do mid tier sororities have a good social life?

mid tier sororities do have good social life for sure. honestly every tier except for like bottom bottom has good social life, the frats they hang out with just differ. Also keep in mind that cob is not a magic bullet, and is generally much more competitive than actual rush. bids are not guaranteed and I know girls who walked away empty handed.

they just don't hang out with as many houses. like to be clear, they still party for sure! just less than non-bottom houses. for what it's worth they're also a lot less toxic and generally have better sisterhood

idk, on another post someone said bottom houses might be less cohesive bc they focus more on getting enough mc members than if the ones actually fit their chapter

some of them kind of body pledge, but honestly a lot are still closer than top sororities (and some mid ones). honestly every sorority has factions within itself, it's kind of unavoidable
