Rushing a low house can still be worth it

I know people have this idea that rushing a low house is a total waste of time, but that belittles the Greek experience into highschool. There are so many different options within the ifc and panhel for a reason, people are looking for different things. UW students come from different backgrounds, have different interests, different cultures. I can already hear the “didn’t get a bid eh?” and I understand where that mentality comes from, but it encourages the clique rep which dissuades potential new members from even trying. It’s important to promote positivity even if you personally wouldn’t join a certain chapter because even if they are irrelevant to you, low houses still have a community on campus and socialize with one another.
