UW Greek Life Downfall

Daily tier list discussions yet never compete with other schools like WSU, UO, OSU, UCLA.

Expensive houses to maintain yet half of them are falling apart and are too small.

Clear gate kept houses like FIJI and Theta that make Alabama look diverse.

Activist Geeds who infiltrated the Greek system and slowly killed it since 2020.

For frats specifically, no brotherhood. Sling beers with other posers and play dye. Welcome to UW Frats.

Social climbers galore even though the bottom frats and srats here would never get into Greek life in another uni. and the top frats and srats here would be mid tier at best at the other unis listed.

Surprised if the Greek system will still be alive at UW in 5-10 years. \n\n\n\n\n

part of the issue is because Seattle is a decently major city, we attract indie vibes instead of greek life vibes, and Greek life trends downward and then it goes back up. We’ll go from everyone needing to members to full pledges in a few years.

Bro is mad that houses like FIJI and theta are gate kept and rich/white but then also upset that “activist geeds infiltrated frats” and everyone else besides them is too lame to ever get a bid in another school’s greek system. sounds like you’re just pissed about your own crappy social life 😂
