by: Keeping it realEvery single sorority was open for COB this year and most still are. Tiers literally do not matter here, all of the houses are working to get more members, and Greek life ain’t as popular as it once was. If you don’t get the house you want then you can just go through COB and get a bid, my 22 year old roomie took a few gap years went through rush and got a bid just fine, and with the exception of a few weirdos, I think the sororities here are super nice and most are welcoming. Would highly recommend rushing and trying it out. This is Seattle, not the SEC, life here is different and the Greek system isn’t as cutthroat as other places. You don’t need to be in a sorority if you’re a girl but I like making friends and I think that it makes a major school feel a little smaller.
