rushing as a sophomore
by: ElleI'm currently a freshman at UW and want to do formal rush for next fall. I've already done informal and didn't like the sororities I rushed so it didn't work out regardless. I reeeeally want to be in a sorority because even though I made friends in the dorms I wish I had made more and met more people (especially more guys). I also want strong sisterhood because I don't really get that living in the dorms. Are my chances of getting into a house that I like pretty good?

There are 18 sororities so i defiantly think you will find one that is for you. There are some awesome house in the greek system and formal recruitment gives you the opportunity to see them all. Personally some of the houses with good sisterhoods are ADPi, AXiD, Chi O, and KD. Those are the girls i know best but defiantly do recruitment!
