They are interchangeable but this is the more prevalent viewpoint in the Greek system as a whole whether you agree or not.

thetas are simply hotter and frankly have seized and secured the top spot for a while. if another house wants the top spot, they'll have to take it. Until then, thetas are number one, regardless of how close the competition is or differing opinions.

ONLY because they have been "top" for so long. their new pc is full of completely questionable girls who got in.....how???? that's the question on everyone's mind. to be honest, kd is for sure taking first. they're liked by both guys AND girls. thetas is liked by only fijis.
to be a top house, a sorority must be liked by all the sororities. and must be liked by more than one frat.

@um: you said theyre top then said theyre not top. regardless of their subpar new pc, theyre still top. sure, you can make a strong argument for kd, but thetas are more attractive as a whole. stop propagating the malicious rumor that no one likes them. same situation as gphi (arguably top also): house is great, new pc sucks.
also, the majority of fraternities like them. frankly no male gives a damn about sorority girls' opinions of other sororities. there are no rivalries lol
