rushing process

I'm so excited to be part of a sorority, but I'm under te impression that certain soroities pick people before they even rush whether they're a legacy or whatever. Is this true? And how would I get around thins if it is? Thanks for all your help.

Not true at UW. I was a legacy in a chapter and got dropped going into the second round
