ranks matter that much?

Is it strange that my top favorites are all ranked differently? I love aphi, dg, kd and adphi with the lowest rank according to this site my current favorite.
Would I regret later going with my gut?

i love this. all fantastic houses. go with your gut or maybe make a list of pros and cons and weight them based on your preferences ie
warm sisterhood?
location?
can i see myself eating breakfast with them daily?
grades?
things in common?
beauty of house?
philanthropy?
etc.
good luck!

Not at all! Those are all great houses, although they are pretty different. Of course each house has different stereotypes (partiers, studious, etc), but you’ll be able to find people you vibe with in each. I would definitely go with your gut or talk to your RC - you will receive a great greek experience in any of these houses!
I would also think about how important “status” is to you. For some people, it is really important and they want to have that in a house (APhi, KD can be a bit elitist towards other houses) but for others it’s not as important. It def won’t impact your daily life any way.Think about what you value in your friends/organizations!

In every sorority in the Greek system, you will find friends, have opportunities to party, and have resources for school and networking. Rankings are fairly meaningless tbh. The only thing that differs between ranking is the frats your sorority hangs out with. With that being said, rankings and tiers do not dominate social situations. I am in an upper mid house and I have good friends in most frats because I actively put myself out there. You should really be choosing a house based on the conversations you have and the girls you love. If you go solely based off of rankings, you will be disappointed in the long term because the people you will be surrounded by will not be YOUR PEOPLE!

For sure the rankings don’t matter as much as people think! Go with your guys and choose the house that you can be you in!
