sorority and academics
by: PNMRecruitment has been super great so far, but it’s difficult to gauge how serious some chapters are about academics. Are there certain sororities that have a focus on strong GPAs (as STEM majors)? Or are they all pretty similar?

There’s definitely some houses that are more stem orientated or com/marketing majority based. Idk if this translates to academics but also grades aren’t super helpful at ranking because they may treat the people differently like more studying, more cheating together, more dropping classes to preserve gpa, easier classes, etc. so it’s a mixed bag for me.

Ask the girls themselves. Ask them questions that will be able to make it clear if they care. Ask them about their major or how to prepare for school because it makes it clear if they really are academically oriented. Also every sorority you will have people that care about school and don’t as much

I checked out the 2020 winter grade report, but like the first comment said it can be slightly misleading so I don’t wanna rule out any houses based solely on that list :( also the majority of the houses I got back weren’t that high LOL
