cob for 2020-2021
by: pnmhi! I’m not super excited about the houses I got back today and while I’m still going through the rest of recruitment as of now I am slightly considering dropping out, does anyone have any idea about what COB will look like this year?

This process is tough, especially online. Please don't think girls are fake, but maybe they collectively chose a girl that was a better fit for their sisterhood, even though the girls you spoke with loved you. Finding the right fit for individuals sisters is a challenge, especially online.
Try to keep an open mind that the houses that chose you really liked you and this is an opportunity to find sisters that will be the best friends ever.
Don't worry about rankings or invitations. Being in any of these sororities will help you make lifelong friends, help you study, and develop a rich social life with meaningful philanthropy.
Don't give up. Keep an open mind.

Thank you for that, but the houses I got back I did not vibe with they were in the bottom of my ranking which makes me feel not listened to. I might do it next year, but this is process is so bad for my self esteem idk if I can keep going

it’s funny bc everyone says “just be yourself, we can tell when pnms are being fake!” but like the pnms can tell too and it feels like most girls only care if you’re pretty and don’t care at all about the conversation you had even if it was really meaningful

people warned me about the rejection I just didn’t expect it to be this bad, it sucks because I really wanted to join a house but I’m just not vibing with my options that are left :( but idk if cob would even be better and I don’t want to be forced to live-in
