Sorority Housing

Hey! I was just wondering if anyone has any idea when there will be more information about sorority housing and whether or not new members would be expected to live-in next year. I’m not sure if there’s a day UW or Panhellenic or something is planning on announcing anything! Any info would be greatly appreciated :)

Do you know that recruitment, football games, frat parties, large gatherings are canceled? Live in dorms and classes are just because UW has to make money off international students.

Most houses don’t even know if the girls already in their houses are even going to be able to live-in yet.

As far as I know every sorority will have a limit of girls who can live in. only very few, as in up to 10, will be able to live in from PC 20

No it’s not false it’s the information I got from MY sorority dummy. I have no idea how they will choose the girls. There is absolutely no way any sorority will allow a full house.

New members will not be required to live in (I am pretty sure for most/all houses). So you can get an apartment or dorm or even live at home!

Bc if school happens in winter and spring this is your only real opportunity to join. COB is a lot smaller scale and not a guarantee. Plus chapters are working very hard to make sure you still become connected to the chapter even if you’re living at home. Recruitment is a lot smaller this year tho so it’ll be easier to get houses you want back I think.

tbh no point bc they're just going to charge new member fees but have no events until maybe winter or spring. there are barely any pnm's signed up so they'll def need to have a bigger ver of cob for all houses or the pc 20s will be really small.

also your "chances" aren't any better during fall rush, each house will just have smaller pc's. if anything cob will be easier bc it'll be harder for panhell to manage

just to make sure the facts stay up here, houses still need to get the same number of new members as last year which is impossible without them cobbing, so every house is going to cob no matter what

tbh if there wasn't any truth to them, they could just leave them up and explain why it's better to do fall rush instead

ig they need to clean up the site before sign ups close and they can't make anymore $
