Is Greek life a big part of your life at UW?

Incoming student, and I’ve some people from my high school joined sororities at UW. From looking at their Instagram, it seems like their sorority is a big part of their time at UW. Would you say Greek life is huge here, consumes most of your time, etc? Or does it only seem like it has such a huge presence since everyone lives in the houses?

Doesn’t consume your live but you live there so you will end up spending most of your free time with people in the system!

School definitely comes first, and lots of people are involved on campus in other ways too (jobs, clubs, sports, etc). But your friends in Greek Life are the people you will get super close to since you live with them!
