What to bring to a Sorority House
by: :)If first-year girls live in sleeping porches, then where do you keep the rest of your things? Does everyone get like a desk, closet, and all that stuff? And what are things that girls should definitely bring to the house and things that they will not need to buy? As far as dorm stuff goes

Yes closet, some houses have personal desks, some have libraries. Don’t bring a years worth of clothes, just bring for that quarter (fall clothes, winter etc). Don’t bring any kitchen appliances (microwave, toaster etc). Don’t bring any furniture or a whole lot of decor items, wait until you see where you’re living/if you’ll be on a porch or not.
Bring: shower caddy, hamper, mattress pad, twin XL sheets, hangers. A lot of people like those fans that can clip onto a bed, as well as lights that can clip on to bed. Also really recommend a bunk-buddy, it’s like a shelf that attaches to your bed, really handy for top bunk.

i wouldn’t order too much stuff in advance, every house is different so you’re going to have varying amounts of space/amentities. you should always have a closet with some sort of thing with drawers so bring hangers. you’ll have more space for clothes and stuff than you’d expect though. not every house has desks but most do, so i brought like a mirror for my desk.

I have extra stuff like a printer, some kitchen supplies (like plates/bowls/silverware) and desk organizers/lamp from living in the dorms last year, is there usually space for girls to store that stuff somewhere in the house?
