PC 20 Can’t live-in Frats/Sororities

by: IFC

I’m a senior in the GS and am an IFC delegate. UW will stop allowing Freshman/new pc’s to live-in their first year. They’ve has been building all these new dorms to make the switch for all freshman to live on-campus and they see this as the perfect opportunity.

Frats probably gonna switch to formal recruitment like sororities since no one will rush this summer — social distancing

Will second years and above still be required to live in the Greek homes?

There’s no way they could do this. Houses then wouldn’t have enough money for rent (since there’s no PC 20 paying for rent). They can’t make every house up their dues so much in order to make up for the lost money.

I don’t think they can do that yet since there wasn’t even enough housing on campus for all the freshman last year. How can you expect them to be able to house all the new freshmen — sophomores and above wouldn’t be able to live in any of the dorms then

to all the ppl saying this cant happen. there’s no way informal rush will be allowed this summer so there’s no other choice for uw

This is not true at all HAHAHAHAH every house needs the money. And not letting a grade stay in would change the entire house dynamic and pricing. I also know for a fact IFC did not decide that.
