Why doesn’t panhell or the ifc do anything about this
by: SeriouslyThis website makes our Greek community literally look so bad! So much harmful stuff is posted here. Does either organization not have any ability to do anything about the stuff posted here? If I had looked on here before coming to UW it probably would’ve turned me off from joining a house. It seems Greek life look so much more ruthless and like a negative community. All the posts on here could be discouraging people that would’ve otherwise gone Greek.

The reason IFC/Panhell/The UW doesn’t do anything about this website is because all three entities would honestly prefer if the Greek System was shut down. Especially the university. These entities don’t protect houses anymore. They shut them down. It’s as simple as that. Look at all the fraternities shut down in the last 4 years. IFC isn’t doing their job of protecting houses, they are doing the exact opposite. Pretty sad to see, but that’s just how it’s going to be as time goes on.
