objective & positive rankings (continued in comments)

in these rankings, there’s an upper & lower level to each tier. cob (extending bids throughout the school year) isn’t exactly negative but it can be a reflection of two things: if the house cobs fall quarter it means they didn’t recruit enough girls during recruitment (aka they were either too selective or girls dropped out of recruitment on pref night) OR they had girls drop or graduate throughout the school year (which could be a reflection of too expensive dues or possibly a shaky sisterhood). i would also like to add that i will try to only mention objective things or positive things about each of the houses, as i think there’s been too much negativity on this site recently. obviously not everybody will be happy with these rankings, but i think these are the most objective ones on the site right now.

top tier:
frats love them and sometimes cancel events with other sororities to get a chance to hang with these houses. generally the “hottest” girls from recruitment end up here. almost never cob & if they do it’s for special circumstances. main house in this tier to cob was tri delt, which was technically on the cob list due to girls dropping but purposefully didn’t recruit any girls through cob. theta and g phi were also both very briefly on the cob list during fall quarter, i have no idea why though. the distinction between upper top and lower top here is that upper top is slightly more “exclusive” than lower top, which can be a good or bad thing depending on your perspective. all the girls i’ve met in these houses have been very sweet, and they’re fun drunks to be around (especially a phi).
upper top: theta, pi phi, a phi
lower top: g phi, kd, tri delt

mid:
hang with the widest range of frats. generally hit/miss (depending on the individual girls, not the houses themselves) with whether the girls are hot or not. some cob depending on the quarter (kappa, chi o, adpi, axid, and zta didn’t cob this year). i definitely think these houses recruit mostly based on personality and who they vibe with most, and depending on the house, they usually don’t care about ranks too much. main distinction between upper mid and lower mid is that upper mid hangs with more upper frats and lower mid hangs with more middle frats (and sometimes upper but not as often). i also think lower mid houses are more open to hanging with some bottom frats, but they don’t do that as often as they hang with mid frats. anyway, i also really like the girls i’ve met from these houses. they’re all really kind and genuinely smart.
upper mid: kappa, dz, chi o, dg
lower mid: adpi, axid, zta, phi mu
