Why would anyone want to be in a top house?

by:

I’m confused on why people choose to be in top houses (frats and sororities)? It seems that the only difference from a top tier house and a middle tier house is that the top tier houses hangout with less houses... like only a few of them mingle together, vs middle tier houses which seem to get to go to parties/party with pretty much every house (including top ones)? Is this correct?? I’m just confused on why being in a top house is considered better if it means you hangout with less people than lower houses do

Ehhh middle tier hangs with middle tier... occasionally upper middle tier girls will be invited to bigger lower top parties

Versus middle tier frats tend to leap at the chance for pc parties w upper tier sororities AND those girls get invited to ~all~ of the parties... it’s really all in who you’re getting canceled on for

sorry but this guy that posted this comment above doesn’t seem to know what he’s talking about hahah bottom frats do not send invites to top srats. they obviously wouldn’t be upset if some of the girls just showed up but most bottom frats don’t go out of their way to send an invite

I chose the house that I loved and felt best at during recruitment. I didn’t take parties or frats or anything into the consideration, and didn’t know about greekrank and rankings at the time. I chose the house for the house and the people in it alone. I think a lot of people feel the same way.
