I currently go to University of Michigan, and I am thinking of transferring to this school because I do not quite like it there, and I am from the Seattle area so it would make sense to stay closer to home. I have been initiated in the fall and we are a "top tier house" at my school and I was wondering how strong the chapter was here. Not to hate or anything but it would suck from from being a top house to a bottom tier house and be looked down upon people in greek. I know people say "ranks don't matter" but it would still be a drastic change, no one could deny that. So any honest opinion on where this fraternity stands, and what are some thoughts on it would be helpful. Thanks

Btw: I will be a sophomore next year

You should drop and rush another house they aren’t a “top tier”. Big4/top houses are considered to be beta, fiji, sig chi and tke. I would rush around though and see what you like.

Uw is different and you can join a different house if you drop yours, so dw. You’ll just have to repeat the rush process tho
