Can I share my bed with my dog (sleep porch)

I know I need approval for any pets but assuming I'm allowed to bring my dog (my only pet), can I sleep with her? I don't want to put her in a cage and I've slept with her ever since I had her. Will others get upset? I know the beds are close but she rarely smells or barks!
