Is it difficult to get a bid from top houses if you are an upperclassman? Every girl I've talked to that rushed as an upperclassman got dropped from more than half their houses after open house. Is that pretty typical?

I think so. I got dropped from half of the houses even the one's that I really got along with since I was a Junior. They prefer Freshmen and Sophomores since they'll be staying in the house longer. I talked to another girl who was also a Junior and the same thing happened to her.
