can “anyone” join greeklife?...

Are there people who are from low socioeconomic backgrounds in greek life? Im not very well off, but is this something that people can detect? Like could you still have the ability to join any house?

Yes there are people from low socioeconomic backgrounds in Greek life. There will be some houses you won’t be able to join though because they care about wealth and whether you are white. Also helps to be tall. These houses are: Fiji, Beta, Theta, APhi

If you go through FFR recruitment you are almost guaranteed a bid, no matter what your socio economic status which I think is great. On the down side, the previous replies on this post are right. Some sororities and fraternities have a type (wealthy, white, connections, being tall etc.) which make it much harder to receive a bid to those chapters. You wouldn’t want to be a part of those chapters anyways though, because you would be a minority being someone who is poor.
