what should i do
by: ughim feeling really down because honestly i dont like my chapter, and i dont know what to do. initiation is coming up soon, and id honestly rather not join... the problem is idk where else id live and i havent told anyone because everyone seems to love the sisterhood of my chapter so far... advice pls?

My advice to you is talk to someone! Whoever is in charge of your new member experience, your big sister if you have one already, or even just a member from an older PC you feel comfortable with are all great resources for you. Talking to someone who has been where you are is really the best way to weigh your options, and they can help you figure out your next steps. I guarantee that you are not alone in feeling this way, no matter what chapter you are in! Whether you choose to stay or leave, keeping open communication can give you peace of mind, and be better for both you and your chapter in the end. There is nothing wrong with discovering that a place just isn’t for you, and there is also nothing wrong with being unsure right now, you may still grow to love your Sisterhood. communicate! many girls freshmen year put up a front and it seems like they love it, but sometimes it’s hard to actually make the friendships and relationships. i personally did not have much fun fall quarter, i had friends in my house but didnt seem close to them, it wasnt until halfway thru winter quarter when i got close to girls!
