rushing

by: amberwave

Hi,
I'm 22 years old and transferring to UW in the fall with junior status. I've always been interested in greek life and really want to rush in the fall, but is it worth it since I am older than the typical girl rushing?

sorry but the truth you have close to zero chance of getting a bid anywhere. you're best hope is AOII but they really suck so good luck with that

I wouldn't count on it. Majority of houses are only looking for freshman/sophomores

I am in the same boat, but you never know if you don't try. I am getting myself super excited and rushing in the fall. I am just taking extra steps to try and secure a bid from the housed that I am interested in. I would do the same, and speak with some alumni if you know any, they are very good at letting you know what to expect and encouraging you to go for it!!

Don't be discouraged by the fact that not a lot of juniors rush... If a house is genuine and likes you for who you are, it won't matter what age you are. Give it a try!
