recommendations
by: cant waitI am really excited to rush and really want to get into a sorority. I know a few alums of different houses I am interested in. would having them write a recommendation increase my chances of receiving a bid?

It doesn't hurt to have one, but I know that I did have a letter of recommendation last year to a house and they still dropped me after the first round. They don't really care what someone else has to say for you, and put all the pressure on your conversations during recruitment.
