there is no way to confirm this as registration hasn’t ended yet. most likely to be around 600 girls.

in response to the post, uw rush isn’t as competitive as there are 18 sororities.

Usually about 800 girls sign up for rush, so why only 600 this year? And bama also has like 18 sororities but has the most competitive rush in the US

UW greek life isn’t as popular as greek life in the South. I wanna say only 18% or so of UW student population goes Greek. Not every girl chooses to do recruitment either, some do COB. Thus, smaller numbers FFR.

And there is no way of knowing how many PNMs there will be until registration closes on Friday :)

less than 500 have signed up SO FAR

JFC, are you rush chairs that worried that you need to jump in and point out that it's not closed yet and there could be more and OMG calm down there are fewer people signed up for panhell FFR this year and that will be the case on Friday when it closes.

There is less interest at UW in going Greek and probably not enough women to continue to support 18 sororities, especially when the new dorms open. Panhell needs to get their S together and do a better job with the process... only two pref parties? WTF?

We’re so chill compared to other schools especially in the south

This is so true. I have friends at Ole Miss and Bama and southern sororities are another world. Ole Miss is even more traditional, but Bama is bigger with like over 2000 girls rushing each year. People care about tiers here, but nobody’s mom is ashamed at the country club if they don’t get a bid from KD. (That being said, my friends there are really happy and love how different it is). We’re lucky it’s competitive but not as insane here.
